At the board meeting last night, the WEB program was highlighted as a leadership opportunity for 8th grade students that supports incoming 6th graders across the district as they transition into middle school. The program begins in the spring with 5th grade visits and continues into the fall with student-led orientation activities designed to build connections, increase comfort, and ease anxiety for new middle school students. #TigerProud 🐾

We wrapped up our One Book One School with classes showing The Wild Robot, our Popcorn Posse of Mr. Rotert and Mr. Wilson made and bagged popcorn all morning for all the classes. And we celebrated our Robot and Diorama winners, who received a Family Membership to the Great Plains Zoo, courtesy of Freedom PTO! Our PTO also provided a box of Roz the robot legos, of which there was one winner from every class! We had a fun last day of OBOS!
