The Harrisburg School District has a Robotics Program that has grown tremendously, and the VEX IQ program is available to elementary and middle school students. In Robotics, teams must build and program a robot that can perform specific functions on a playing field. Students then participate in tournaments where they test their robot's skills and also collaborate with a variety of other teams to earn points.
Last weekend, a team of students from Horizon Elementary participated in the first VEX IQ tournament of the year and had a very positive experience. VEX IQ teams will participate in a few other tournaments before the end of the season.
Horizon is #TigerProud of the efforts of this year's Robotics team. Keep up the good work!
