Fourth & Fifth Graders build community while decorating their shared pod and hallway. Lights were put up, and paper chains and snowflakes were created and hung. It was exciting to see learners come together and work toward a common goal. They are embracing #BetterTogether set at the beginning of the 2021-2022 academic year. The creativity of young people, and their ability to plan and carry out their vision, was fun. The memories will last a long time. Staff were able to supervise and answer questions to the tough stuff such as, “Are there more lights, tape and staplers?”
At lunch, learners were overheard expressing that their work was beautiful and kids really know how to decorate. How true it is! Our Horizon young people have so much to offer in so many areas. What an incredible hour of team-building, chaos, and fun!
